Sun Exposure
I have black hair and was wondering how long it would take to turn it a different color in the sun.
It will get ”lighter” from the sun. But it really wont bleach it like if you got a bleaching kit or went and got it done.

Skin Cancer
I want to be a trucker but I heard they get skin cancer easier than other people, is this true?
<br>Not necessarily.
Skin cancer is related to Sun Exposure. Truckers often get sunburn on their arms (due to lengthy exposure of forearms to sun whilst driving) which would increase the chances of skin cancer on their arms.
There are three basic kinds of skin cancer – Melanoma (the really bad kind that spreads throughout the body), SCC (squamous cell carcinoma) and BCC (Basal cell carcinoma).
I have treated a trucker for multiple SCCs on his forarms. He never wore sunscreen, and always wore short sleeves or sleeveless. His forearms were always sunburnt and were heavily suntanned.
By all means become a trucker if that is what you want to do – and to avoid skin cancer, wear long sleeves and use sunscreen to avoid getting burnt.
The cancer council even provides "Driving Sleeves" which you can slip on over your arm closest to the window – right arm in Australia, left arm in America – all depends what side of the road you drive on
– which protects your arm from the sun. Can make your own by cutting a sleeve off an old shirt and sewing elastic in one end. then just slip the sleeve on (elastic at top to keep it up).
Gloves would be another thing. Having your hands on the steering wheel all the time means they will be exposed to the sun a lot. light weight material gloves are one option, sunscreen another. Some people use a UV blocking filter on their car windscreen (like window tinting) to help prevent sunburning. There are many different options.

Skin Cancer
I really just wanna go tanning once for an upcoming event. Is there a risk that I could get skin cancer from this one time? I think I’m only going to go in for 10 minutes also.
Tanning one time would put you at no higher risk then anyone else.Thats like smoking 1 pack of ciggs and thinking you are going to get lung cancer.
You should be aware though, that even people who dont tan can still get Skin Cancer.

Makeup
When I wear makeup, it always looks as more of a cover up than enhancing. Only once did my makeup enhance my green eyes, and that was when I did a smokey eye with gold, copper and brown.
I see pictures of before\after Makeup (no photoshopping!) and the makeup really helps the model.
It doesnt "help" me, it just changes my appearance
What am I doing wrong?
You might be applying too much of the wrong stuff. What you need to do, is take the time to pick out your right skin tone in foundation. This makes a big difference(obviously :p). Moisturizer is a very important step…do that first. Liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer is a good choice. Apply a small amount to the back of your hand and use your finger to apply a thin layer all over your face. The warmth of your fingers help blend the make up better. Its okay if it doesn’t cover up all the redness or blemishes. Use concealer(only if you need to) and cover up redness of blemishes. Blend it out but not too much or you’ll wipe it away. Pat it on the spot and then blend out the area around it so it will fade into your skin. Then use powder to set everything and and keep your makeup there for a little while longer. For eyes, browns and coppers are good colors for green eyes as well as blue. To define your eyes, draw a THIN line on your top lash line and a VERY THIN line on the bottom lash line. If the color is dark but thin, it will enhance your eyes. If your lashes are dark, you could just curl your lashes and leave them like that, but if you want, its always good to apply a little. Just make sure its not clumpy mascara. Light blush on the apples of your cheeks gives you a natural looking flush and gives your face a healthy look to it. Again, not too much. If you want to apply bronzer, get a big fluffy brush get a LITTLE bronzer on it and use the "3B" method to apply it. Drag it from the middle of your forehead, across your temple, under your blush(if you have any on) and to your chin in one continuous wipe. Do the same on the other side. Lipstick to match your lip color. Some have darker lips naturally and some have really light pink lips, but you can always to whatever color you want as long as it isn’t to much. If you have a lot going on on your eyes and face, natural color. If you did your eyes and face really natural, you can do a bolder lip color. Gloss to match if you like.
Phew. That’s a lot. :p Hope I helped!

Alternative Medicine
This is a question to Jehovah Witnesses and other religions aswell
What do you think of alternative medicine such as chinese herbal medicine, natropathy, reiki, crystal healing, flower essences healing. Do you think these are against God and if they were then why are all these stuff in nature, the nature that God created for our use?
I know some religions say they are against it like crystals cos it’s pagan, but how is it pagan when they are from the earth?
Jehovah’s Witnesses endorse the mainstream established medical treatments and medicines for any serious injury or sickness and the advice of a qualified medical doctor such as a General Practitioner should be taken.
Chemical substances in nature may of come from God’s creative powers but it doesn’t mean that it is intended for human consumption or treatments. Some Alternative Medicines are marketed by people who are no more than snake oil sellers – the supposed cure for all ailments. Some are just placebos. Others put people in a belief that it will cure them when it won’t and delayed conventional treatment could be dangerous for their health.
Some as said may believe that their are spiritual powers in the medicine and again it may be all the above but it would be unclean to Christians to connect spiritual powers with such "medicines".

Tanning
I just got a spray tan (looks great surprisingly!) and I have unlimited tanning and spray tans with my membership. Do I need to wait to get in the bed or should I just do more spray on top of the spray I just got? I am new to the whole Tanning thing.
It’s not as dark as I want it and I missed a couple of spots.
Spray Tan is totaly different to a sunbed tan, a spray tan will offer no protection against UVA rays & will not give you any increased risk of skin cancer. If they are free just stick with the spray tans as they are safer.
