Dietary Supplements
So people have said Diet Pills are bad for you. But are Dietary Supplements bad for you. Its called Mega-T Dietary Supplement Green Tea. Underneath it says Fat Burning Supplement, Helps curb Appetite, Helps stimulate metabolism. Idk cuz everyone says green tea is good for you but im not sure if this is or not. Help me out if you have used this or something like it. Or if you just have knowledge to share on this. Thanks!
Green tea is high in antioxidants.
A diet high in antioxidant foods can elevate your metabolism.
A high metabolism burns more calories.
A diet burning more calories can burn excess body fat.
So green tea equals weight loss! Sorry.
Green tea or green tea pills alone will not speed your metabolism. Most of the beneficial antioxidants are lost through processing anyway.
A healthy diet including green tea and exercise will work every time. In many cases replacing sugary or artificial sweetener drinks is the benefit since green tea has no calories in it. I drink mine with lots of ice and a few ounces of orange or lemon juice
Good luck.

Dietary Supplements
For example "Lioness." Also are there any known side effects of these herbal supplements? Most importantly will they interact with my birth control pills?
All such products are a total and complete waste of time and money. What increases a woman’s libido is being with the right man.
All herbal products have side effects and they are poorly regulated by the FDA for safety and effectiveness. Don’t waste your money or time.

Dietary Supplements
I got these Vitiam D Dietary Supplements the other day, and it says take twice a day. If I take more then two would I die? If I could die, how would I die?
Please answer!! x
You would have to continually take A LOT and not seek medical treatment when you start to feel symptoms of vitamin D toxicity to die:
The recommended daily allowance of vitamin D is 600 international units (IU) for children and most adults. The recommendation for adults over age 70 is 800 IU daily. Above 4,000 IU a day the risk of adverse effects increases
As always, make sure your doctor is aware of any vitamins or supplements you take. The main consequence of vitamin D toxicity is a buildup of calcium in your blood (hypercalcemia), causing symptoms such as:
Vomiting
Polyuria (frequent urination)
Weight loss
Poor appetite
Constipation
Weakness
Heart rhythm abnormalities
Kidney stones
Treatment of vitamin D toxicity includes stopping vitamin D supplements and restricting calcium intake, as well as taking medication. In severe cases, hospitalization may be necessary.

The FDA needs to be shut down or drastically changed! MAY DAY! Get active! Spread the word! Send this video to as many people as you can!

Dietary Supplements
I was recently told that the FDA does not review and give their approval on vitamins and dietary supplements (like stuff you’d buy at GNC)… Is this true?
"Manufacturers and distributors do not need FDA approval to sell their dietary supplements. This means that FDA does not keep a list of manufacturers, distributors or the dietary supplement products they sell. If you want more detailed information than the label tells you about a specific product, you may contact the manufacturer of that brand directly. The name and address of the manufacturer or distributor can be found on the label of the dietary supplement.
Vitamin products are regulated by FDA as "Dietary Supplements." The law defines dietary supplements, in part, as products taken by mouth that contain a "dietary ingredient" intended to supplement the diet."
